This pretty pendant features a cluster of garnets featuring a central oval 8x6mm Garnet surrounded by a row of 10 x 1mm and a row of 16 x 2mm Garnets mounted in a tiered setting.
Garnet is the traditional birthstone for January
The name “garnet” comes from the Latin word “Garanatus,” meaning “seedlike,” in reference to a pomegranate.
This reference makes sense as small garnets look like the bright red seeds you find inside in a pomegranate.
